With all the people running e-targets both at matches and for personal use... hopefully someone has solved this problem already.
For those of use without covered firing lines, various models of tablets, e-readers and laptops can be pretty hard to read in bright sunlight. And if you do dial up the screen brightness to try and overcome this, then the battery life drops noticeably.
I recall seeing some sort of side shields in the past for laptops used in the field, to provide a bit of shade for the actual screen and keep the screen image from washing out. I'm starting to consider fabricating something along those lines from cardboard, or maybe corroplast myself. But before I head down that rabbit hole myself, I'd be interested in seeing what ideas others have come up with!
