This match will be shot on Shotmarker e-targets so please come prepared with a smartphone, tablet, or other device that has wifi capability to connect to the Shotmarker system. There will be a few extra tablets available if you don't have one.
April is the kick off of the shooting season for us at COSSA which involves opening up the range for the season so Friday the 14th will involve a bit of range maintenance and cleanup. I will be at the range a little before 10 a.m. to get the neighboring ranges closed and start to open the Nosler range. Arriving early to help out will be greatly appreciated but not necessary. Things such as weeding the firing lines, picking up any trash that may have been blown onto the range, target maintenance such as new backers and centers as needed, clearing tumbleweeds from the pits, putting up wind flags, setting up the electronic targets and checking calibration, etc. I imagine this will take a few hours. Once the maintenance is done we will have practice starting at 800 yards and working back to 1000 until completed.
Saturday will be a Palma + 20 at 1000. Please arrive at 8 am. Safety briefing at 8:45, firing will start at 9 am. (approximately 85 rounds including sighters)
Sunday will be 4 x 20 at 1000. Please arrive at 8 am. Safety briefing at 8:45, firing will start at 9 am. (approximately 100 rounds including sighters)
With the change over from Allen to myself, this match has not been approved through any sanctioning body. Not a huge deal but I will be working on getting the remaining matches approved through the NRA or CMP.
There are enough shots at long range that this qualifies for V2 points for the Fclass crowd.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me and look forward to seeing everyone.
