Cooper Montana Varminter

I one one of these over the weekend in a raffle. Now I'm in the wait period. It's a .223 single shot with a three lug bolt. Cooper says the twist is 14" so it's limited to about a 50gr bullet. Does anyone have experience with these guns?

i owne one in 6.5 X 284 and i can tell you that it is by far the most accurate rifle,out of the box) you can buy IMHO,,now this will stir some s....) but then again i am a little biased, You will love the way it shoots,,,,and if it doesn't meet your expectations just send it back and they will fix it.....how cool is that

I own one, and it is a great little rifle. 50 grn blitz kings
work great, with 25.5-25.8 of benchmark. which is what cooper uses in testing. I use 25.5 for 52 grn bullets and 25.8 with 50s.
