Cooper 20 Vartarg

Hi guys, just starting to work-up loads for my Cooper 20VT. I've got both H4198 and VihtaVuori N120 to work with. Just wanted to know if anyone out there had any recommendations on powder weights and bullet jump. I called Todd Kindler and he said to park the 32 grain V-max right on the lands. Also have Sierra and Nosler 32 grainers to try. Thanks!

I have a Cooper model 21 Phoenix in 20 Vartarg. In mine there is no way I can get to the lands with 32's and have much contact left in the neck. I still get excellent accuracy jumping the bullet. It also shot the 39 and 40 grain bullets well. My favorite is the 35 berger and H-4198 with Rem 7 1/2 primers. I made up some cases based on Lapua 223 brass and Lake City 01 brass and feel they are better than the Remington brass. The Remington brass shoots just fine but the other brass seems to be able to handle pressure better in my opinion.

Berger 35gr or 40gr bullets and a healthy dose of Benchmark should do a good job. Benchmark and 10X seem to be the most widely used. Good luck.
