I have never heard of anyone doing it so I doubt it will work. It would require a taper in the top of the box to get the rounds closer to the centerline.

It's not just the lips. The two cartridges are substantially different in diameter and length. Who knows how they would stack up inside the mag. The follower would have to be modified to present the proper angle to the chamber. Not worth the headache. Sell it and get the one you need...
