Contender hammer selector problem

I have a Contender with the rotary style rimfire/centerfire sector. The detent spring must be stuck or broke, because the selector spins freely. Is there a remedy to this, or do I need to source a new hammer? I currently have it soaking in Kroil and have some fingers crossed, but have to plan ahead just in case.IMG_20230908_210935.jpgIMG_20230908_210928.jpg

Thank you. That's what I figured. The trouble is that the pins have no way of being driven out. They would need to be drilled out or pulled somehow.

^^^ for the aggravation involved, that might turn out to be the more economical option.

I have one like that in my parts box, when I get time I'm going to set it up on the mill and go at from the back side, if successful I'll tap it and add a set screw. The one from Haus of Arms is the easy solution.
