Bought this barrel to keep. Wife just reserved condo in Orlando so there goes my play money. Will be some time before next barrel LOL.
Have the pictured Thompson Center 10" 30 Cal. Herrett Contender Barrel & Redding 30 Herrett Reloading Dies. Both are in Excellent condition. Look close at picture as this the actual item you are buying. Feel free to ask questions or request more pictures.
Thompson Center 10" Factory Heavy Tapered Contender Barrel. Barrel is Chambered in 30 Cal Herrett. Herrett chamberings were developed for 10" barrel and outperforms 30/30 in 10"-barrel length. In my opinion this may be the perfect packing Contender Caliber for deer out to 150 yards. Has deep bluing and old school soft writing. Barrel is in Excellent Condition with light blue rub at muzzle. Rifling is crisp and shiny. Has flat bottom lug and on piece bolts. Appears to be shot little. Worked perfectly on 2 of my easy open frames and 1 non-easy open frame. While this is a good indicator of compatibility it is in no way a guarantee it will fit your frame without fine tuning. Has MGM weaver style scope base. Also included are 50 Fireformed (in this barrel) brass from virgin star-line brass and 9 die formed but not fired virgin star-line brass.
