Contact info for someone to bush a bolt

Define bush. There are 2 modifications on bolts that are called bushing. One involves the firing pin hole the other involves adding diameter to the bolt body.
My Ruger inquiry would be about the firing pin.

The other option makes my head hurt wondering how they do that.

Machine a cylinder with ID matching bolt OD, split in halves, solder an upper and lower "sleeve" on rear of bolt or also a set in front near lugs. Machine OD to some determined clearance with action bore. Better alternative is to get new bolt body from Kiff.
Carlsbad has bushed FP on several 700's for me.

And that is why my head hurt. It's as simple as I thought! lol

You can order a custom bolt from PT&G for a Remington...with everything you want .062" firing pin tip, the exact diameter of your bolt body, type of fluting on bolt body, bolt knobs,...the whole ball of wax...but your head space will probably be wrong...unless you're chambering a new barrel.
Bolt bushing and bolt sleeving are two different modifications covered by this custom bolt, plus the fluting option, extractor, dual ejector, firing pin,...all done to your specifications. Cool...
Unless ya want to do it your self, and have the tools and knowledge to do so...then you can add the "Borden bumps" for snug bolt lock up like no other for "your action", when you sleeve your bolt and ream the receiver to consistant diameter with expensive carbide tools...very precise. Does all this centering and action truing contribute to accuracy? To a certain extent...yes. But after a lifetime of doing all this Barrels, bedding, bullets, and load development for rifle will fill most needs.
It's like a high performance race car...it cost a lot to drop the just a fraction off your drag racing times...it cost a lot to be in the winners circle.
I have quite a few small firing pin bolts in auto and bolt action, cause I experiment a lot, as to what is possible with certain common cases, and run the pressures up..so the small firing pin .062" seems to help, but I've only sleeved one bolt with titanium sleeves and Borden bumps after boring the raceway to uniform dimension...the rifle is accurate, but is it worth it...sometimes this makes a difference sometimes it doesn't seem to do much..where ya have to be a good shooter to tell the difference, and age and eyesight tell ya your best days are gone. Same deal with centering bolt carriers in ARs, but it can be more drastic here, and easily show up on target group sizes, so I still preform the proceedure in ARs.
