Considering CZ action

I am considering trying to build a .22 or .30 br on a CZ 550 action, mainly because I like their triggers, the look of the action, and can pick one up for about $550-$600. I am trying to build a walking varminter,<10Lb w/o scope). Just wondering if anyone else has tried one of these actions.

Hi i shoot a CZ 550 american .243, and a CZ 550 Varmint .308 i too love the trigger`s on both rifle`s,
but over here in the uk ive have inquired about re barreling the 243, and all the smiths ive asked told me i would be wasting my time ?
me personally think there wrong ? but im no gun smith,
i just shoot my 550`s nearly every day,

you find that alot of gunsmiths,not speaking for them all) want to stick to one or two plus custom actions, but not all are like that, I for one think only the customer knows exactly what they want. Stick to your guns and you shouldnt have any troubles finding someone to do the job for you. I have yet too build off of a CZ action but what I have seen of them seems like a pretty simple job that should produce some very nice results
