The issue that you will likely run into is that when you dump powder into a scale pan from any height is that a good deal of it will bounce out, unless you modify the pan.

If I throw the powder into the pan and then put it on the scale, which is how I do it at home, it won't make any more of a mess as I make at home, which is considerable.

Some time ago, I figured out how to dump from the measure directly into the scale pan, with it on the scale, without any bounce out. I thought that might be where you were heading. Normally I hold the bottom of the pan against the bottom of the drop tube, drop the powder, and then lower the pan.

The original company doesn't seem to list them anymore :( , but I did find the equivalent:
http://www.teklab.co.uk/menu/5/Glass+containers,+glass+pipettes+and+glass+tubes+/43/Glass+Tubes+With+Push+In+Caps/

I use the 50 X 12mm ones. They will hold approx 60 grns of Vit powder and you can use a 50Cal funnel for them

Gareth, thanks for the link. I would say glass makes more sense, trying to avoid static. I'm across the channel so will try and source locally but otherwise I will contribute to the export count of the pound sterling. ;)
