Conley 30cal bullets

I had a nice conversation with the man that owns and runs Conley bullets. Mr Conley makes 30cal 12, 116. and 118gr 30cal bullets for the 30BR. He seems like a real fine gentlemen and an honest person. I am going to give his 116's a try and see how they shoot in my Krieger/Lawton rig. I was wondering if any of you fellas are already shooting his bullets? We decided to try the 116's as they sounded like the right choice for how i will be shooting. I had a friend here on the forum turn me on to these bullets and he claims that they are excellent bullets. Just looking to make some friendly conversation here and hoping some of you fellas could tell me how these bullets are shooting for you. There going to have to be a really great bullet to beat these BIB bullets i already have, but what the heck. I like trying new things. Thanks Lee

Glad you got to talk to him. As you know I just started shooting his 116's in my 30br. I'm new to the benchrest scene, but Jon Conley has taken the time to help me learn this game. He runs the matches at NTSA in Denton. He just started making bullets a couple of months ago, but I have found them to shoot very nice in my 30BR. I was able to take 3rd place in the IBS Texas state match in early Nov. He himself did pretty good, and would have done much better had he not dropped 1 point in the 100 score. He shot a 249-22x. When you shoot score, that 1 point can drop you half way down the pack.

Anyway, If any of you would like to try his new bullets, I really like them.
