Congratulations to Gabe Matheny for winning the IBS 600 yard Rookie Shooter of the Year! Gabe is one of the hardest workers in Benchrest. He’s a quite guy who listens and soaks up knowledge like a sponge, then uses it to kick your butt. Honestly Gabe is one of the quickest studies I’ve ever seen!

Gabe secured his win by picking up 16.25 points at the Nationals coming in 6th HG Group and score as well as 14th in the overall 2 Gun!

I’m thankful the Lord let me shoot with a great group of men this year.! I’ve learned from some of the best in the game these past 2 years, and asked for a bunch of advice the last few months of competition. Although I Lost my head a couple times , and made rookie mistakes, I did enjoy the company I was with.
I got dragged off to the Nationals to shoot in 20* temps & 16-27mph winds, leaving the 89* temps at home..where I met some new friends and had great times.
I couldn’t have done it without Bart’s bullets for sure.
Hoping to fully recover this winter, and be a strong competitor next year!!

May God bless everyone this up coming Christmas, cause he has me.
