I like to recognize accomplishments, whether they involve records or not. In this case, a personal shooter accomplishment by @pat fulghum.

Pat has been shooting with us here in the PNW for a while and today he shot a 600-50X at 500 yards. It's not a record, but it *is* the first match clean by Pat (one of many to come, I am sure). I know he's been personally frustrated (like many of us!) by the number of 599's that led up to this... I know I've probably shot 10X as many 599's as I have 600's! That damn '9' gets pretty old after a while.

Pat was shooting a 6BRA and it's a terror at mid-range.

It is nice for someone to "Trumpet" the milestones of another shooter.. Most shooters won't "toot their own horn", yet recognition is a strong incentive to strive for a bit more! Awesome shooting!! Congrats! I enjoy being in the pits scoring when guys are having those incredible moments. Its almost as much fun as it is for the shooter and a whole lot less stressful, lol.

Thanks Jay, "Achievement Unlocked" is exactly correct as I do work on Xbox Hardware at Microsoft. (This is a video gaming phrase)

I have very stiff F-Open competition around here with @Jay Christopherson, @Tod Hendricks, and @Keith Glasscock. Without their help and guidance along the way, I would not have been able to achieve this... Thank you!

I get a lot of crap for shooting a "BRA", and I know I have to graduate to a 284, but I have really struggled getting a 284 to shoot even remotely like the way the 6 BRA shoots. I'm hoping that my stock / action will get here soon from @Greg Taylor / @speedyG so that I can started with it (hint hint).

The 6 BRA is truly a great round for mid-range, and I would also like to thank local benchrest shooter (Multiple BR Record Holder with his BRA), @newbieshooter (aka Jeff Locke), for our collaboration in tuning this round for both disciplines.

Next Midrange Goal: 200-20x
