Conditioning Some 6BR Brass

Is there anyone that will condition some BR brass for me. I basically want them hit with an expander die to remove any donuts, check the necks and turn them to .012 thickness if needed (most are pretty close to that now) and then anneal them. A previous owner did turn them but I find some discrepancy it wall thickness. I attempted to turn the necks myself and pretty well ruined 5 out of 5. I think I don't want to try doing any more.

I've shot these brass 3 or 4 times and the neck on my rifle is .271. I'm afraid if some donuts have formed there is not much room for error. Also I want to get them annealed. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

DJ's brass service would be the Man for the job! He is second to none!!

they are fine. Just shoot them.

If you push them upon a .2435 mandrel. You will see the “donut” form a bulge on the OD. This can be turned off with a neck turner.

The Donut is of no consequence if the shank of the bullet does not contact it. That all goes back to having the proper throat in your chamber to accommodate the bullet you choose to shoot.

You should be shooting a .272 neck, which is perfect for the Lapua Blue Box 6BR Brass.

I could easily do what you want in a lathe, but what you are asking is a lot of trouble to go to since 6 BR brass is now available.
