computer question

Someone has sent me an email the has a couple of attachments and my computer won't let me open them.

How do I get "Outlook Express " to let me get my attachments?

Hal

A possibility - (but first make sure there is no embedded virus)

Is it a .zip or .exe file?

If you can copy it from Outlook do that first and put it in some folder. You may be able to open it there. If you can't get it out of Outlook, ask the person to rename the file extension (like .zip to .piz) then send it. Once you get it out of Outlook you can rename it back to what it was.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's a Zip file too, Outlook is trying to keep you safe.

Hal,

Forward the email to me at csteinhorst@hotmail.com. I will check it out and let you know what to do.

Hal,

I converted the drawing to pdf format and sent them to you. I don't know why I didn't think of that first.

Good luck,

Cort

Thanks everyone for the help.

I opened the attachments and printed them.

To open any attachments I have to change the setting in my tools menu.
