Very very popular in Africa for decades. Although slightly smaller diameter, it is very similar to the 375 H&H, but initially enjoyed a better reputation with older bullets,which blew up in the faster 375 H&H)due to slightly slower velocities.
The debate is still going on over which is the best. You may have a problem in the US with premium bullets,???), but if you are satisfied with approx 2350 fps and find a use for it in the US, you will buy a legendary calibre.
