Competitions???

Where would a guy find local competitions??? I live in NW Wisconsin and would like to go to one to watch and maybe someday shoot. I don't know what discipline would be best for me. I am just looking to get started and trying something out.

Whatever you do...take a gun(whatever you have) and plenty of ammo. It's natural to want to watch first, but that's a mistake. This game is learned by doing and listening. It's simply not a spectator sport. --Mike Ezell

This one is 3 hours North of me. Should be within reasonable driving distance to NW WI.

Rod Vigstol (Nodak7mm) has put together a great spreadsheet on where to shoot under the "Competition" heading in the Forums. Link is http://forum.accurateshooter.com/index.php?topic=3787129.0 Title of the thread is "F Class: Where to Shoot Spreadsheet".

I gave it a bump so it should show on the top of the list in that Forum. You have several ranges in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Good travels.

GRRC is a great place to shoot! I like it there.

Come to Columbus, WI and shoot with us as well.

I am an hour from Eau Claire and my parents live 25 minutes from that range. I did not know it was there until I just looked it up. I might have to contact them about the M1 shoot and other events. I would like to shoot out to 600 with my 6BR. I have a thumbhole stock right now and I don't think that is allowed in F class. Keep the info coming. Thanks
