Utah state rifle and pistol association has info on their website. Centerville has a range,about 20 minutes north of slc,I have not been there but i think it goes to 600yds. Also usrpa has long range comps once a month in wendover,Nv about 1-1/2 hrs west of slc. Hope this helps. Shane

Hi i am also looking for some small bore options in SLC, this is what i posted on a Texas 22lr F class thread (I am new to this forum so still working my way around)

No problem sounds good, looking for any local competitions but assume we can get one started. What ranges do you shoot?
I am looking for Mini F Class (Rim fire) 50 and 100 yards and or Rimfire bench rest? Once I get organized I will be using F Class setup to should 200 & 300 to practice for my long range gun 338/378.
I should have my new Anschutz up and going in a week? Should be fun, cheap and easier on the ears and wallet for a bunch of practice

Dave, I moved to SLC from LA in '95. Best move I ever made. Centerville shoots a lot of mid range at 600 yards, the club installed electronic targets last year. There is also 100 and 200 yard small bore on the schedule. As others have said, there are monthly Palma and LR matches in Wendover, 2 hours from my house. If you travel a bit, there are LR and MR matches in Rexburg, ID, Rawlins, WY, Missoula, MT, and Reno, NV. Travel back to CA is pretty easy for Coalinga and Sacramento. We are a bit lacking for indoor smallbore. Donna Warnock has a junior program down in Springville and I go down there and shoot with the kids in the winter. Utah Precision Marksmanship Society (upms.org) shoots a lot of air rifle/pistol at the Univ. of Utah.
