A friend has a rifle that doesn't like Federal Gold Medal Match in 168 or 175gr although it shoots my 168gr handholds very well. He's gonna need to go another route for a bulk buy of .308 match ammo....300 rounds for an LEO qualifying event. What commercial match grade ammo would you guys go to next after Federal? Anybody shoot the Lapua 167gr Scenario Match ammo? He will be loading his own ammo before year's end but has this qualifier coming up soon. Thanks for any help.

See if Black Hills is still around......Few of the buds shoot the IMI israeli
razor cores they load with Sierra 168 and 175's. Get the brown box Mil
from SGAmmo and not the green and white box. Group wise, the IMI
is right there with the Black Hill's but at way cheaper prices. Most are
shooting the 168's. It's seems to have a better jump tolerence. I'm
recommending this ammo because of your mentioning of a Leo event
and a bulk buy.

That's what I load in Lapua brass. Extremely accurate. He may try some.
