I just puchase a Remington 40-XB TDR.
I will we using it once it arrives for targets and antelope. 450 yards plus is my expectations for antelope and 600 bench post hunting.
I don't due to moving have any ammo reloaded nor will I be able to reload. I need the best round I can get from a Factory box. I don't care if it's match ammo as antelope are essentially big dogs and go down easy.
This rifle only has a 20" barrel with 1 in 12 twist and am thinking federal gold metal 168 match kings. Possibly the 175. Someone suggested amax hornady match round.
I understand in a perfect world I would buy a few box of each anf test but I only have time to test two and am looking for people who have shot A multitude of factory ammo to step in with what they have seen for performance from factory match ammo.
Ilife likely to show up tomorrow so next weekend is my first chance to test if I can find locally.
