Color Coding Cases

I'm hoping to find a way to color code cases-----easy, inexpensive, penetrate the brass pores.
Any such cases wouldn't be fired after coloring.

Hoping to find something about as easy to use as a Sharpie but more durable.

Anybody know of such a product ? Thanks for any information.

Years of shooting with my club at a local police range taught me to color code my cases to keep them from disappearing via the brass whores.
This was pistol, and I colored the case head with a wide Sharpie . When it came time to clean up after the session, I would announce " the ones with the blue heads are mine". I only had to announce when the brass whores were present, and we all knew who they were.

I used a red Sharpy in the extractor groove of my 38 Super brass when I shot USPSA. I was known as "red butt". Got them all back.

sharpies work until the don't. It really depends on how you clean, and with what. Best for me if I plan to change or want multiple groups.
For something more permanent, like culled fouler cases, I use the small notch on rim, previously mentioned.
