College Smallbore Program Health?

Anyone know the overall state of the US college smallbore programs these days? Is funding, number of scholarships, number of college programs, etc. increasing/decreasing?

I'll ask Jon Hammond, WVU, coach. I do know that West Virginia has the most successful program the last several years and all time. I feel Jon would like better facilities. I believe there are NCAA limitations as far as the scholarships are concerned.

I will add, The number 1 rated WVU returned to the range to beat Akron this week 4711-4651. They will be in Fairbanks, Alaska for 2 matches the 20th and 21st. These matches can be streamed on your computer.

I wouldn’t say it’s thriving. The major reasons is OSHA shut down a lot of the basement ROTC ranges due to poor ventilation. But there are programs and conferences.
