Club score match at Rockingham County Gun Club ( NC ) May 24, 2025

RCGC will be hosting our next club match of the year on Saturday, May 24nd. This match will be for Score at 200 yards. Match begins at 9am. Gate will be open by 8am for setup.

Targets are scored using a reticle, so there is no caliber advantage. Classes are available for Benchrest, Modified, and factory rifles.

Season trophies will be awarded at our last match in October.

You do NOT have to be a club member to participate.

Roy, I looked on the websight, but did not specs for a benchrest rifle? Any weight limits, foreend max, or stock configuration? Thanks, Samuel Hall

Sorry, looks like someone removed my class descriptions. I'll try to get them reposted.

Anyway, for the benchrest class, anything you can drag onto the bench goes!

Modified guns cannot have a 3" forend, unless shot from a bipod.

Factory guns can have trigger adjustments or replacements. Everything else must be factory.

We had a great match last Saturday. Attendance was down due to the holiday weekend, but board member SHall joined us for the first time and gave us a good whoopin'. Sam won with a 264 followed by Roy Danell with a 260 and Steve Stanley at 257.
