Agree completely.... Yet I keep seeing this post over and over... Once again trying not to stir the bucket , I can't believe all the post about cleaning a barrel by pushing a bronze brush at the speed of smell is going to destroy a barrel yet let's dump some CLR down it and my groups go from 3 inches to 1 millimeter.... So many people asking what is CLR and we in the South scrub toilets with it from hard water etc... I will assure you it will do damage to metal , I mean maybe not harden steel barrels but all the talk of coated rods etc.. for 40 years and 40 years before that we cleaned barrels with what ever was the norm back then and those rifles still shoot fine , some older than me and I am 50. But hey that's me , iam sure I am wrong..? Just shoot it and clean it , rinse and repeat.... UuuhgggJust dont use it on a rifle. It doesnt work too good anyway compared to proven solvents
