Close Tolerence Lube - Custom Actions

Nodak7mm

Team Lefse
Since I finally got myself a BAT actioned rifle, I have been wondering of late what to use for a bolt 'body' general lube. I want to lube it with something, without 'greasing' it up.

On my Factory rifles I typically use a flannel rag that is saturated with LPS 2 and it leaves a nice thin film, but am concerned with the tighter tolerences found on a custom action that maybe that method might attract/accumulate 'enough' dust & grime to be detrimental. I am good to go on lug lube, but am wondering about the body itself.

Any comments welcome..

Thanks

I've always used the same lube on the body as I do on the lugs with my 3 lug and SV BATS and never had a problem with them gumming up with dirt or dust while varminting with them.. TM bolt lube...

I use the lube from Dohrman. It is very good and you need very little, just a dab on your finger. http://www.tru-kote.com/lubes
