Cleaner burning powder for .223?

After over a year of reloading on my L-N-L i have only tried 2 different powders, H335 and W748. Since then i have learned alot from purchasing those powders and what seems like i will never know enough. In my search for 2-3 powders to experiment with over this summer looking for recomondations from those who have experience and will give pro's and con's which powder and why. I never really new when someone stated 'thats a dirty powder' what that meant until recently. Will be trying 40GR and 50GR balastic tips and possibly a heavier one,HOR 68GR). Powder does NOT have to be a ball powder but do not want to have the ' flow troubles' some have with using the powder drop on my press or similiar. Any comments as to what i should be looking for and what to avoid are welcome. Looking to get more accuracy than i have found with the H355 and be a little cleane

There are quite a few good powders for the 223. If you have not checked it out take a look at the 223 reloading section on the home page. I've personally used Benchmark, Varget and H4895 in my 223 with good to excellent results. All three of these will burn cleaner than H335 or W748 and be less temp sensitive. Although Benchmark meters well, nothing meters as well as ball powders. Good luck.
