Clean powder for 9mm, .45acp & .38 ?

I'm looking to use up my Bullseye and try something that will work in the three calibers and be cleaner than BE.

I'd be shooting 230gr lead/coated or FMJ in .45, 115/124gr lead/coated or FMJ in 9mm, and 158gr SWC lead/coated in .38. Not looking for lots of speed just some light soft shooting loads.

I do have some Titegroup I haven't tried yet. I'd like some accurate plinking rounds and may try some IDPA again.

I like Titegroup for 38 spl 357, 41, 44, 45c low to mid range loads. I think it pretty clean shooting. It's good in 45acp and 9mm but I prefer other powders for them. Those would be W231 and BE-86 respectively. There are a lot of good choices out there. $.02

powerpistol burns considerably cleaner than 231 or titegroup in my 380 auto. It also seems more consistent

231 is my choice. It is good for almost every handgun caliber with the exception of a few magnums. Also goes thru a powder measure very well.

231, bullseye are like shooting dirt in your pistol they are so dirty.

AA #5 and 7 that are incredibly clean in 9's and 45's, meters like water!

Tightgroup is also clean that I shoot in 9's.

I avoid all flake powders due to how they bridge in a powder measure, one light charge, the next is heavy including Red Dot, Green Dot, Blue Dot, Unique, and 800x...Redding and RCBS uniflow measures.

Tight group is VERY DIRTY compared to other powders imo.
But that's what I use. I've heard power pistol is a clean one.
Universal is my choice for 9 mm I don't know if that's good powder for the bigger calibers. It's a cleaner powder.

Clays or Titegroup, VV N320, WST or WSF, IMR Red are all cleaner than Bullseye. You can also clean up Bullseye by crimping your rounds harder but only so far.

As you can see like everything else in reloading , it's subjective.... I use Win. 231 because I have it and have a load worked up useing Berry's bullets.... I have found no powder that doesn't require a good cleaning after a box is fired....
