Clean or not clean ?

Hi all,

I bought a book by " Glen Newick" called "The Ultimate in Rifle Accuracy"
Now here is the question. On the 6mmbr site, there are various persons that swear by cleaning ur gun after every 200 odd rounds. In this book, they talk about cleaning after every 10 shots or so.
Now who does one believe, or does it just become a matter of choice?
I shoot a 308 Win stainless. Dying to get my hands on a 6BR though..

There's an article about the "Houston Warehouse" talking about the accuracy of the short range BR guns, PPC's. They were shooting indoor, 5 shot groups, in the .0's, and cleaning after each group. After cleaning they would fire one fouling shot then five for group. If you’re asking a short range BR guy he'll tell you clean after each string of fire, 10-20 rounds. If you ask an F-Class/High Power/Palma guy he'll tell you to clean only after the accuracy goes away. I've shot complete matches, 50+ rounds, without cleaning, no loss in accuracy. I was cleaning every 20 rounds several years ago, now, I may clean every 20 or 60 rounds, depends on how the gun is shooting and how I feel
