CLASSIFIED ADs -- IMPORTANT

I've put this in the Classifieds Section, but people are not complying so I'm repeating it here.

CLASSIFIED ADVERTISERS--

If your item has sold, or you are taking it off the market, please click the "delete" link and remove the Ad. When you are logged in, "Edit | Delete" appears below your Forum name in the post. Just click "Delete", it's that simple.

If that is somehow too difficult, at a minimum, add "SOLD" to the title so I can manually delete.

If people can't do this, I may have to institute a "pay to play" plan using software that automatically deletes ads.

It's good that you added the image. When I went to delete a for-sale thread, it took me a bit to figure out how to delete the thread. It wasn't obvious that deleting the first post would also delete the thread.

Thanks for being persistant about this with out being ugly. It will make it easier to view the adds with the SOLD ones gone.

Come on guys, please! The price on the classifieds are free, you can't beat that.
I remember when ads over at benchrest.com were free. Now you pay.
Do you really want that to happen here?????

Why don't you just delete everything back to November 1'st of 06?
That's three months. If the item hadn't sold by then chances are it isn't going to sell.

There is stuff going back to May of 05, and some of it by regular posters. Please take a few minutes to take the appropriate action.
