That is one Nice Rifle. After you break that puppy in, put a big dose of N135,,enough to get it to 3450), behind a 68 grn Barts Ultra, jammed tight, and watch them all go in the same hole.......jackie

Nice gun and sure love that Tracker stock. What was used for a finish? I used Shooters Solutions Arrow wood finish on mine.

Jackie, is that the secret to them Bart's bullets in your Kreigers? The VV135 and 3450fps?

In my Rem 700 6BR with a 1-10 26.5" barrel I have reached approx 3450 with 68gr Wildcat bullets out of Alberta. There was nothing unusual in regards to stiff bolt or hard extraction. I stopped shooting after the one group thinking it might be too hot for a factory action. When it gets a little nicer in Manitoba in about a month or so will do some serious velocity checks.

The finish is automotive car clear. I think it is Dupont. The period for the parts was 1 month for the action,barrel was in stock,stock took about 3 months to get from Shehane and it wasnt the one I ordered. I wanted the light obeche but he stopped making it and would have to wait another 2-3 months for another obeche to come in. The gunsmith took about 7-8 weeks and the finish was about 4 months. In all it was about 9 months. At least it was over the winter so the wait wasnt as bad. My last gun was held up at Mcmillan for 6 months that sucked. It was right at the start of the summer too. Ill have to get sum 135 and try it out . Thanks

Calvin, that is the secret to shooting a 6BR in a Krieger with Barts Ultras. Jam them to where the marks appear to be about twice as long as they are wide, and push them about 3450 with N135. This has worked for many shooters with that Combination.......jackie
