I finally found some dirty brass to check this Citranox out with, you can blame a full month of rain every day for not having any dirty brass around.
I dropped 3 ounces of it into a gallon jug of hot water and put 20 - 25/284 cases into the beakers and poured the solution in and let it go for 6 minutes, and they came out of the US tank as clean as could be. They were as clean as cases done with the vinegar solution in a lot less time and effort.
Next I changed the solution and dropped 20 really dirty 375JDJ cases into the beakers and added the Citranox solution and let them run for 6 minutes, and they came out still pretty dirty, so I ran them for a additional 6 minutes and this time they came out really clean inside and out.
I screwed up and left the 375's on the wood stove to long and they turned the prettiest blue you ever saw., I forgot I had opened the damper and walked off for a half hour.)
This stuff really seems to work very well for cleaning dirty brass with a Ultra Sonic.
Thanks for the tip Dave...............
