ChronoPlotter 2.0 for powder and seating depth tests

Hello,

I'm not affiliated with this program other than giving feedback to the developer since version 1.0 and he's done a lot since he first started. On top of functionality he's been working with Microsoft to qualify the program so there shouldn't be any more false negatives for those that virus check it and he's been super up front with anyone who has questions about it or its legitimacy. I don't blame anyone who was nervous about it in the beginning but he's approached it head on. I will warn everyone that as of today there's a known bug at least for Macs when it comes to saving the files so I just take screenshots for now but he's working on fixing it. I'm a huge fan already compared to the old Excel program that was out there and it's made my life both for shooting and teaching so much faster, easier and more quantitative. I realize it's not for everyone but I think it can help quite a few people out to make life easier.

I do know he's working on adding a tab for manual data entry as well as importing Shotmarker data plus some other new features. He really seems committed to its success.

Here's a couple videos to help show what it can do.

Hey! There's a guy on YouTube that uses the same name as you! :P

Thank you sir, I watched your video and downloaded the app - it really looks nice, and I would never have known about it if you didn't make a video on it...

Needs to add confidence intervals. Without them one has no confidence that one sample set is reflective of an actual change in underlying behavior.

I grabbed this this morning and tried it lunch, then I remembered I cleaned my card off Sunday after manually entering in a Spreadsheet. I am a dummy

Nice, I have been doing pretty much the same thing by exporting my ProChrono/Digital Link files to Excel using the CSV format for a couple of years now. This is a lot prettier than my stuff and I would jump on it if there is ever a option for CSV file imports

A long, long time ago my Handload Log consisted of a three-ring binder with pre-xeroxed template pages. You had exactly one small, physical blank line per load to capture any pertinent data.

Nowadays I use an Excel Workbook. I'm able to capture chrono data, pressure predictions, QuickLoad prints of pressure profiles, actual target pictures, and various graphs of how ladder series compare to each other. In the past I've used various Excel graphing tools, including the template the 6.5 Guys came up with a few years back, that you mention in your YouTube video. Having all those visual artifacts associated with each load makes my Handload Log vastly richer, easier to interpret, and much quicker to discern patterns.

This ChronoPlotter 2.0 software beats all those earlier graphing efforts by a mile. What an elegant piece of software! Fifteen minutes after downloading the dmg file, it became only the second shooting-related software to gain a permanent spot on my Dock (the first being QuickLoad)

Thanks for pointing us to this, John! And thanks for your YouTube channel, which I also enjoy.
