Chrono advice

I am looking to buy myself a chrono and am looking for input as to what my best option is to buy. I don't get a chance to shoot over 300y too often, and want to develop some loads for my first prarie dog shooting ever next spring. I would like a unit with remote readout, and would like to keep the price low enough to justify the 4-5 times a year it will get used. Any heads up is greatly appreciated.

We are in the middle of extensive testing with an Oehler, Shooting Chrony Gamma, PACT, CED Millenium, and PVM-21.

This is not the 'official' recommendation as we have yet to crunch all the numbers, but if you want a printer I'd go with the S/C Gamma. If you don't need a printer, I recommend the CED.

Our CED has proven to be extremely reliable, though it is a bit of a battery hog when running the Infrared option, though not as bad as the PACT, which, when running I/R, may need new batteries every few hours.

The CED is $199.00:

Thanks for the help. I don't have loads of time to search and review this stuff so this helps. By chance any opinions of the RCBS Ammomaster Chronograph? It doesn't have the remote readout, but I can get a really good deal thru work on em and if they are decent, I may get one for a beataround one that won't break the bank if or when it gets shot.
