Child's chassis/stock for MKII

Looking for a chassis or stock for my little girl's MKII. For some reason, I can't find the MDT LSS with the AR butt which would be perfect. Any suggestions?

Boyds @one standard or thumbhole
I recently saw a tip saying if the minimim LoP is still too long pull the adjustable butt off completely.
And she can pick her favorite color scheme!

I just realized that the MDT uses AR stock by default. REALLY like the @one, I hope it gets short enough for this little person. 20210622_191333_HDR.jpg

Should take a std carbine tube, so use an collapsible butt. If the cheekpiece is too low, attach a plastic extension. I used double sided tape, the thick outdoor one to glue the spare top from my Savage varminter. Comes in handy for the grandson - I take the Luth off ( it's a Howa mini 6.5) and screw the collapsible on.

I got just under 12" without the adjustable butt measuring straight back from the trigger.
Just under 13" on the minimum adjustment with the butt.

for reference I measured the factory stock at about 13.5"

Definitely not the reduction she would need judging by the picture.
Maybe have her shoulder the minimum and set the scope back a lot?

Or just hack several inches off the factory plastic stock for now?
Not like they're worth much for anything else.

Oh! Boyd's will do semi-custom stuff. I doubt they can shorten the @one much given the working parts inside but maybe they can do a different model to fit. Probably worth a call.

Or set the MkII aside for later and get a Rascal that can definitely fit little bitty people? Probably a much better option if she's going to shoot anything but supported.

After reading through all of the details I see that it does indeed take the carbine stock. Pretty sure that is what I am going to end up with for her so it can grow with her.

A buddy just bought a CZ with the AT-1 stock for his 8 year old daughter. Fits her great and with full adjustment her Dad (6' 9") fits comfortable. Lots of easy adjustments. Think they hit a homerun with it.

The Oryx Chassis is offered for the MKII with a min LOP of 13". Hope that helps, love hearing about getting youngsters out shooting!

Although not what the OP was inquiring about....

I was in the same situation two years ago with my 4 year old son. We found that a Ruger Precision Rimfire when collapsed all the way down fit him well, and this summer it's extended out 1.5" and still fits him fine (also fits 6'4" daddy well too). Although a tad heavy, he shoots it well supported on a tripod.

the Savage Rascal Target Model stock is made by Boyd;s, their "mini-pro varmint" stock ~$169 .. they do not show it as an option for the MKIIs, but you could maybe contact them and ask if they can inlet one properly ?? .. sidenote: I have one on a Rascal, and its real simple to take the buttplate off, insert a couple of "aluminum standoffs", as used for mounting plexiglass signs, and reattach buttplate with longer screws to add LOP.. doesn't help you though, unless they can inlet one for a MKII

I'm actually looking at cutting the butt down then printing a buttplate from TPU. It'll definitely be a low boy style...
