Cheek piece

I need something for the Remington. About 7/8". What are you varmint hunters doing to a HSP stock?
I would like easy removel for cleaning. Not sure about strap-ons because they`re not ridgid. Any thoughts?

blackhawk makes a lace on one that works very well for me on several rifles. Plus since it is lace on it can be tilted to one side or another during cleaning instead of removing. Plus it is only 19.99 from there site. Part #90CP00BK

I did see that on their site, cant go wrong there for twenty bucks.

I rigged one up from the back pocket of an old pair of 501s. kinda redneck but it seems to work.

If you don't mind drilling a couple of holes in your stock. Karsten is the way to go. Otherwise Blackhawk makes one that attaches with Velcro and comes with inserts to adjust the size. It works very well and doesn't move once you get it sinched down.

Eagle or Tac Ops have excellent cheekpieces, Karsten is a great piece of equipment if you are willing to drill a few holes. Another inexpensive alternative that I have seen some folks use is the Choate cheekpiece.

+1 on the Blackhawk cheekpiece. I use one on my Remington 03A3 Vintage rifle.

if any body is interested I pulled a leather cheak peice off of a M14 at work today that was marked black sheep on the leather underneath. I will be making a drawing of it today at work by placing on paper and tracing. Really neat design but you would have to make it your self.
