Thanks you, gentlemen. Especially to you PM for your time to make such a GREAT review on the Neo...
.............
I would like to thanks to some friends that gave me inputs / critisms before this.
I found & imported directly the "Fluro" bearings after I received several samples from a friend.
I had input to make the tension adjustment to be more easier, or even without any tool to adjust.
I had input to make the rest more compact for travelling.
Etc.... Just to mention a few.
Without your inputs / critisms, this rest wouldn't be like this!
Still, I received some more good inputs in the last few days.
On the other side, I feel that I have FAILED to make this rest to be more affordable / cheaper than my regular rest!
I won't "defend" myself here, however I have tried my best before this. I have made several/different models & configurations, different/cheaper materials etc before, but I came to the conclusion that I must make a totally different rest, a more user friendly rest, and the best of the bests coaxial rest. Not a "so so" front rest. That was my goals.
So my sincere apology here to anyones that have hoped the new rest to be more cheaper than the regular rest!
In a glance, only by looking the photos or videos, I'm sure that you can understand WHY it is more expensive than the regular rest.
Yes, it has many/more precision parts, the use of expensive stainless steel SUS 420J for the rack gears & pinion & center shat, aircfraft grade alum 7000 series, enhanced features/details etc.
You can ask other people to make a rest like this in the price range of $ 675 - 750, if you think it's an over statement / over price. Let me know if I'm wrong!
In addition, again I'm sorry for the long delays!
Best Regards,
seb.
