This page needs an update for the scope's contrast side of it.
I have been shooting the Bushnell Elite XRS;s since they first
came out around 2011-2012. I picked up a Vortex GE and NF
Comp together about 5 years ago. 3 years ago I finally got my
March High master. They all get used on various rifles and often.
I do a lot of personal testing at the range......Although only up to
30 power on the Bushnell, across the board it has some of the
better clarity and contrasts with the NF comp coming in at a very
close second. The Vortex GE was at the bottom. Surprisingly, the
$3000 March High Master ( Vet and cash discounts from EuroOptic)
was below contrast levels of the Bushnell in the 30 power range and
the NF comp beat it out on the top end magnifications when shot
side by side in the same conditions in heavy mirage......Bottom line,
and for "my eyes".....The old Bushnell XRS and the NF comp are the
highest contrasting scopes I have ever used. Again.....My eyes.
