For years, we have sharpened drills by hand or on a home made fixture on our Cincinnati Tool Grinder.

we finally bought a Oliver Drill Sharpener that will sharpen from 1/4 inch to 4 inches.

This is a really neat machine in the manner in which it generates all of the parameters of a properly sharpened drill.

it can be adjusted for any clearance, any back angle, cutting edge angle, or point thickness.

I sure hope it’s in great shape, since it’s new, LOL.
I think we ordered it quite a while back. I forget just how long ago my brother ordered it. I wasn’t thrilled about it at first, but for all of the men in our shop, it takes the guess work out of sharpening drills.

Well it just has an old school vintage look to it. I thought Oliver was done years ago fuzzy memory anymore.
