cheap annealing video

hi again. just watched a video on youtube and the guy built an annealer for cheap (15$ plus torches). looking to start annealing and trying to save some money right now ( in the middle of another rifle build :) ) does it look like it would work. i have never annealed before. thanks in advance. bryant

Google the "Skip Design DIY annealer" or some similar verbiage; Skip is the inventors name. It's easy to build, all the instructions are well documented, and it works better than many commercial designs for around 100 bucks.

I built this for about a 100 bucks. It took about a day including letting the paint dry.

Mine has a few more bells and whistles. I have an auto feed chute with a proximity sensor to feed one case at a time, a round counter, etc. I added a heat shield to keep the annealing pan cooler. Plus I bought some fabricated parts since I odn't have a lot of fancy tools, so mine cost about $150.

The dwell time can be adjusted as required for various calibers and/or neck thickness. I anneal .223, 6mm BR Norma, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .308 Winchester. The changeover time takes just a few seconds.

i also built my own. Similar to Mozella's as it feeds from a hopper, has proximity sensor and mounted torch. Not hard and there are several designs that you can follow, some with complete parts list on YouTube.
Annealing isn't hard, but it is essential to precision, repeatable loading.

I was going to build one. I ended up buying bench source annealer. I have stainless steel drum with a slot cut in it. I will sell it for $15 plus shipping if anyone is interested.
