Chargemaster Help Pls!!

Got a new chargemaster that won't stop dispensing. As soon as I turn the machine on it begins dropping. It does not have a load in it or any programming done yet. No button will stop it from running. Only thing I can do is turn the power off or unplug it. The 'cancel/stop' button does nothing. Is it defective or am I just stupid.

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,

I do not own a charge master. As with most electronics, it may be possible for a hard reset if you disconnect the power plug, push and hold the cancel/stop button while you reconnect the power. Is there a reset button on the back/bottom of the unit?

Otherwise you are in to calling the OEM next week.

Doug

I had to return one for not taking inputs. The new one works well. I think you will like it. It should not do what you discribe.

I haven't had this problem with mine, but it definitely sounds defective. Return it and have it replaced. I love mine, works great.

I had that once. I unplugged it when it was on and went through some of the advice on the various forums to solve it.

Empty powder out, re calibrate and re- zero. Set to a small charge and test, then up the charge and test.

When the humidity is up, it acts up. I put mine through a APC UPS, keep the cord unraveled and disconnected, and several of the other tips, min. flurescent light, no draft, away from other electronics) and it runs pretty good. Every once in a while it will consistently over charge, but I just back through the steps above to resolve.

Still disappointed it won't drop small pistol charges at all.

on my second one, works great, their CS is great just send it back get another..I use the Lee dippers for handgun loads, pretty easy, maybe the RCBS Little Dandy.
