Only the target can answer that question. Just my two cents. Tommy McMy chargemaster 1500 is consistent at + or - one tenth. Is that accurate enough for 300 yd bench rest competition?
I am asking 1/10 0ver and 1/10 under is a 2/10 spread, is that close enough or do you need to be more precise?
And what might that be?Good enough for minute of Deer
Depends on the deer,And what might that be?
You may want to send it to these guys.I can only speak for myself. For me it's not accurate enough for 100m benchrest. I check every charge with second scale. Moroever, my chargemaster's accuracy decreased after 1.5 year. It's practically non-repairable here in Europe.
If you are shooting a 6PPC, 6BR, or 30BR, +- .1 it is plenty accurate. My chargemaster 1500 is consistent at + or - one tenth. Is that accurate enough for 300 yd bench rest competition?

Your Chargemaster should be more accurate at dispensing than that. What scale are you using to check this? If you are seeing this spread on the Chargemaster scale you probably need to adjust the programs to slow it down.My chargemaster 1500 is consistent at + or - one tenth. 1. The RCBS Chargemaster advertised accuracy is +/- 0.1 gr. That means if your Chargemaster is showing 45.4 gr, it might be 45.3 gr or it might be 45.5 gr, or it might be 45.4 gr. You cannot tell my looking at the display. My chargemaster 1500 is consistent at + or - one tenth. Is that accurate enough for 300 yd bench rest competition?

Without knowing more about your equipment, skill, and goals (just compete is good enough? must win some portion?) really very difficult to answer that. You scale might be good to 0.01 gr and you still might not be competitive, if you understand what I am saying. Is that accurate enough for 300 yd bench rest competition?
To check it I am using both a digital scale and a balance beamYour Chargemaster should be more accurate at dispensing than that. What scale are you using to check this? If you are seeing this spread on the Chargemaster scale you probably need to adjust the programs to slow it down.
would you please explain tuning the parameters? With a smaller diameter insert in the charge tube and tuning the parameters, mine delivers +/-0.05 about 90% of the time; I know this because I weigh them on a separate scale. I wouldn't settle for 0.1 for my needs.
