Chargemaster 1500

Folks
I cannibalized two chargemasters last year and got one running.Scale off of one and powder dispensing unit off the other and we're hitting on all cylinders.
The scale that is not working correctly will not stabilize when you turn it on. The digital display just keeps fluttering up and down like a 40 MPH wind is going across it.
Having nothing to loose, I opened it up and made sure no powder had made its way inside. After reassembly, I noticed two hex head set screws in the bottom. They just happen to be right under the "bar" that the plastic pan sits on. And both of them have a glue type something against the heads to prevent movement and I'm guessing tampering.
Sooooo I just had to see what they would do. A little tension on a 2.5MM allen wrench got them puppies moving. I tweaked one a half turn and it almost eliminated all the fluttering of the numbers. Played a little more and success!! No more fluttering and I'm looking at 0 on the display. And to top that off, it calibrates now!!
Too damn good to be true of course. Scales are inconsistent and they don't display correct weight with my verification weights. I have adjusted and tweeked way beyond my patience level.
Have any of you fine folks any experience with these adjustment screws?? I know where to send the scale to be repaired, but, why not iron this out on my own if I can?? And use said repair for bullets and powder!!
Any help would be appreciated.

Both of us friend.
I read that a company called Microprecision had something to do with these units. I think they have something to do with the calibration of these machines.
I'm going to reach out to them this week and see what happens.
