Changing 6BR to 6 BRX

What is involved in changing a 6BR to 6BRX. I have a new, unfired barrel in 6BR that I want to change to a different 6mm chambering. Which reamer do I need and can it be done by hand or does it need to be set up in a lathe to do the chamber change.

It will need to be done in a lathe. Call PTG http://www.pacifictoolandgauge.com/index.htm and tell them what gr bullet you intend to use and they can help you choose a reamer for your needs. I went with a .272 neck, .112 Freebore to shoot 107-108 gr bullets.

thanks for the reply. I was jsut thinking that I might be able to turn the difference by hand, but that amount might be just to much material to remove say than a short chambered barrel would have.
