Championship Weekend
SBS held our Big match of the year this weekend Sept 21&22. We had the IR50/50 Unlimited CA State Championship and the SW Regional Unlimited Championship. No one traveled to the match this year , so it was locals only
And Scores were very close with several ties
We had 10 Shooters on Sat and 11 shooters on Sunday.

Sat was the CA State Championship
We started at 50 Yards
Card One saw two 250’s Greg Wilson took it with a 250 16 (first miss 3) other 250 was Marcus Byrne
Card Two saw two 250’s again,with Brett Berger taking it with a 250 13x, other was Dan Lutke
Card Three saw two 250’s also, with Pierre Bigras getting the 2500 15X, other was Marcus
Final Results were very close Third place was Brett Berger with a 748 43x, second was Dan Lutke with a 748 46X, and First was Marcus Byrne with a 749 40X. Pierre was Fourth with a 747, very close.
We moved to 50 Meters and scores went down, conditions picked up
Card one went to Ron Chisick with a 250 12X
Card two went to Marcus Byrne with a 250 17X, Ron had a 250 15X
Card three went to Brett Berger with a 249 11X
Final Results saw Brett Berger in Third with a 741 37X, Second was Randy Kirkbride with a 744 30X, and First with his trusty Remington 40X was Ron Chisick with a 746 36X
6 card Agg saw Marcus Byrne Third with a 1488 86X, First and Second was a even tie with a score of 1489 80X. second was Brett Berger , and First was Ron Chisick
Sunday was the SW Regional Unlimited Match, again we started at 50 Yards
Card One went to Dan Lutke with a 250 19X, Pierre had a 250 16X
Card Two went to Marcus Byrne with a 250 17X, Dan had a 250 14X
Card Three went to Brett Berger with a 250 16X
Brett Berger was Third with a 747 47X, Second was Marcus with a 748 42X, and First with a 748 tie but with 49X was Dan Lutke. Pierre was fourth with a 746
Sunday afternoon we moved to 50 Meters, and the scores dropped again , not one 250 shot at 50 Meters.
Card One was won with a 248 16X by Brett Berger
Card Two went to Greg Wilson with a 249 15X
Card Three went to Greg Wilson with a 249 18X
Final Results were very close - three 735’s – two 736’s – two 737’s - 742 and 745
Third went to Marcus Byrne with a 737 38X , Brett was Fourth with a 737 37X. Second went to Pierre Bigras with a 742 35X, and First was Greg Wilson with a 745 42X
6 card Agg saw lots of ties, Fourth and Fifth tied with 1484, Second and Third tied with 1485
Fifth was Dan Lutke with 1484 80X, Fourth was Brett Berger with a 1484 84X, Third was Greg Wilson with a 1485 80X, second was Marcus Byrne with a 1485 80X, and First was Pierre Bigras with a 1488 80X
Thanks to all that came , wished there were more people of the west coast to IR 50/50
