Chambering wilson seating dies / Gretan vs Viper jig?

i made a little jig years ago for wilson dies as well. only difference with mine is that i never put my jacking bolts in line with each other. i offset my back jacking bolts 45 degrees from the front one. this way they are not jacking against each other
text me if anyone wants a picture!

I saw some jigs built on the machinist forums that did that. Makes a lot of sense. I'll give it a shot!

Here it is. I managed to find a “cheap” 6 inch round that’s a foot long. I’ll figure out how to attach it to a back plate and make a specific Chuck for the task.

Once I figure some things out and do a test run with the aluminum, I really like what this guy did. Direct mount.

Got a chance to use the fixture/chuck?

I had a 250 dollar 300 blackout barrel that wasn't passing an alignment rod through a suppressor.

Fitted the barrel in, chased threads, re-shouldered, and re-crowned (Factory crown was a little ugly, and had the black barrel coating on it.

The fixture works well. Dialing is a monster pain in the ass but it does indeed work.

You aren't. I have them, haven't drilled them out for tips yet. I will.
I just buy them pre-tipped from McMaster Carr.
