Chamber neck size??

Got a Savage with a .272 no turn neck chamber. Shoots like a dream!:D One question comes to mind. Loaded Lapua brass measures .269 to .2695. Would there be any advantage, with this size loaded ammo) to have a tighter neck?
Got a friend that is doing a 6BR build on a Savage and wants to order a barrel. Thought I would put this question out and get some feedback. Thanks for any and all ideas and opinions. Mike.

I just happened to measure a loaded round and that got me thinking. I know that the case neck will swell when fired, then you get the spring back. It wouldn't take much for the case to open up and release the bullet. Lots of folks are inside reaming the case necks as well as the outside. In the case of .002 difference between loaded neck verses chamber neck size, thats not much. But it sounds like someone knows more then us about the subject. All I do is load them and pull the trigger.:D And enjoy every fired round. ;) A no turn neck chamber and factory brass sure makes it easy to keep a smile on your face! Love that 6mmBR!

You gotta remember, you're dealing with production brass, and there may be some varience lot to lot. Lapua is the best there is, but you never know. Unless you are going to "turn to fit" a specific chamber, I would opt for the extra tho'.

Hi i run .271 necks on all my reamers for no turn Lapua br cases BR nad dasher they work perfectly i would not go any tighter as some batches are loaded to close to .2698
