Chamber finish & case life?

My 'smith left the chamber shoulder as shown in the pics. It's pretty rough. The rest of the chamber seems ok.
I know it's pretty poor workmanship but I can live with it. I neck size on a Redding S bushing die and want my $1/each Lapua brass to last 10 or so reloads.

Anyone have any experience that shows a rough shoulder finish might reduce case life?

That is going to cut the neck off of the case.

You will be fine, if you ONLY fire cases once and toss them.

Seems like you are saying that the rough surface will grip the brass and prevent flow forward, thinning at the neck with each firing??

Anyone else agree that this rough surface will prevent me from safely reloading these cases repeatedly?

Take a case or two and shoot and load it til it fails or you get tired.

My guy's gonna polish the roughness off the shoulder this week. I just broke in & sighted in and didna wanner tear her all down again.
