CH Press H Style Single Die Press

I have CH Press given to me that I have become attached to. I would like to know the years it was made. I have checked back to 1971 they only list the 3 die press. This is a rugged press but I only have 2 shell holders for it. One for 38 spl and one 30 cal. In other words the PPC uses a 38 spl shell holder and the 30 cal will do all .473 case like 30-06, 308., 6 Rem, 22-250. Not bad but I would like to have a 22 cal shell holder. E-bay has a 3 die CH press with many shell holders might buy it.
Any info from a 1960's CH catalog would be appreciated.

You and I are just getting too old. My first press was a CH that my Dad gave me when I turned 14 yoa in 1961. It served me well and I used it to load for a .222 Sako L46 Vixen,my walk around gun) and heavy 98 chambered for the .22 Var.,now the .22-250), Douglas barrel and 15X Unertl Ultra Varmint.

Many a crow bit the dust to the CH case forming and loads for these two guns. I still have all my loading and kill records.

I still use my CH 'C' press. I have since 1963. I also have a CH bullet swaging press, and I use my CH corecutter with my bullet making dies. I have several CH die sets- .222, .270, 30-30 30-06, 38 spl. I consider all my CH equipment as good as my other gear.
But still looking for info on the CH Press H Style Single Die Press.

Hi Stephen ! I also have a C-H 3 position press that has served me well for the past 13 years.

Have you tried C-H website for info? They are still in business.

click on the presses and then look down the list and you will see universal H rams....if your press has 1/2 20 threads you should be able to replace them with these and use regular shell holders...you will probably have to make die adjustments tho
