Has anybody used this new powder? I bought some to try with my 77 sierra's also in my 308 with 168 sierra's. Thanks Perk

Of interest may be a thread posting over at Dougs boards basically pooh poohing the CFE powder. Said it's been around for a while from a different manufacturer , only now it's off patent and has a new name. Wonder if it's the same powder used in that special Zombie killing ammo. ;D Hog

I could give a rats a$$ if it is a remake. It sure looks like some impressive velocity#'s on some rounds for the psi it is running. I guess Winchester should thank the Swiss for smokeless powder huh.

Yes a change in the weather. Now I can go to the range with out 40-50 mph winds. Now I will see what cfe 223 will do. Thanks Perk

whats the burn rate? would it work in the BR cases with heavies?

On the hodgdon webb site it shows max load 30 grains at a little over 2600 with 107's. I tried some 70's in a 12 twist today still looking for a load that will work. Thanks Perk
