CFE223 in 22BR

Has anyone seen any data for CFE223 in the 22 BR? ve been digging and scratching around and thus far found nothing. OR, has anyone used the CFE type in the 22? Are there any suggested loads?

You haven't given us any direction as to what use you're looking for and what bullet weights you're interest in. What twist rate does your barrel have? How long is the barrel?

This lack of information should have been your first clue that something was telling you about this relationship. It's not because no one has tried or tested it, it's because the powder isn't suited to the lighter type varmint bullets. But it does work nicely with the heavier bullets to which this cartridge is suited when it comes to target shooting.

I run AR-Comp with the 53 gr. VMAX bullets for close range prairie dogs.

Sorry got in a hurry and the clutch in my brain slipped or maybe just wasnt in gear. Im inclined to shoot 60gr bullets for vermin and 75-80s for paper, although this is more a ground-chuck barrel rather than a paper barrel(hows that for gobbledy gook?). Its a 25.5 inch 1:8 twist. I have shot 80 Sierras in a 600yd match mostly because, to see what it might do. Used a bit over 30. gr of Scott 4351. Shot well but was a tad too slow and it was a chore to get enough in the case. It wasnt really competitive.. I think at this point the 60gr will be the primary bullet, mostly for our local crows, foxes and woodchucks.

Using 40 Grain sierras, I went right to their accuracy load. I hate the powder they showed for accuracy but end results are very hard to argue with.

Maybe I was just lucky.

Sierra's "Accuracy Load" has worked in everything I've tried. Pretty neat! I do agree, sometimes I'm not so happy with what powder is suggested, but it never fails to impress.
